Broadoaks is a boutique country house hotel in Ambleside, offering exclusive-use weddings in a setting of understated luxury on the edge of Windermere.
Set in six acres of landscaped gardens above Windermere, Broadoaks is a Victorian country house that has been sensitively restored to create a luxury boutique hotel. The venue is exclusively yours for the day — no other weddings, no shared spaces, just you and your guests in a private, intimate setting.
The venue offers a range of ceremony and reception spaces, from the elegant dining room to the garden terrace overlooking the lake. The interiors are stylish and contemporary, with log fires, oak floors, and floor-to-ceiling windows that frame the lake and fell views. The gardens are beautifully maintained and provide a stunning setting for portraits.
With just nine bedrooms, Broadoaks is ideal for intimate weddings and couples who value privacy and exclusivity. The approach is personal and bespoke — every wedding is tailored to the couple, and the small size ensures a level of attention that larger venues cannot match.
